About Koh Samui

Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s most popular tourist destinations and is the third largest island in Thailand after Phuket and Koh Chang. Samui is renowned for its beautiful tropical white-sand beaches, beautiful blue sea, tantalising Thai cuisine and its warm and friendly locals. In recent years it has developed into a tropical tourist destination but it has still maintained its individual charm. Samui's natural attractions include the coral beds at Laem Sed and Tong Takien, the Hin Lat and Na Muang waterfalls and the phallic rock formations at the southern end of Lamai bay - to list a few.

Koh Samui has everything to offer - from coconut tree fringed beaches to tropical jungles and its vibrant nightlife. Activities include elephant trekking, sailing, canoeing, golfing, diving, fishing, site seeing etc. Site seeing includes waterfalls, jungles and temples as well as the butterfly garden, aquarium and tiger zoo, monkey theatre, snake and crocodile farm and a tropical zoo to name a few. Day tours to the neighboring islands of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and the Angthong Marine National Park are well worth attending. Direct flights to Samui airport from Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong as well as ferry services from Suratthani makes Koh Samui easily accessible.  We have a tour and excursion desk at our reception in Rich Resort Beachside Hotel where all tours and tickets can be purchased.

You can be sure that from the moment you get to Koh Samui, the beauty and relaxed atmosphere of this island will begin to catch you in its spell.
